In Case You Didn’t Know Ross began his career with WWE in 1993 along with Bobby Heenan and called matches for stars including Macho Man Randy Savage and Gorilla Monsoon. He eventually became the voice of Raw and SmackDown and became a crowd favorite while calling matches for Stone Cold Steve Austin. He took a brief leave from the company and did commentating for New Japan Pro Wrestling and even lent his voice to professional boxing in 2015 for a couple of years before returning in 2017 to cover the Roman Reigns and Undertaker match and partaking in the Raw 25th-anniversary show....

In case you didn’t know… Wrestle Kingdom 13 was Kenny Omega’s final night with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The former leader of Bullet Club lost his IWGP Heavyweight Championship to Hiroshi Tanahashi at the event and has since left the company. Since then, the wrestling world has been wondering where Omega would join next. Many have been anticipating the day where he would join the WWE, and it’s been reported that the company has definitely tried their best to bring him on board, offering him some pretty impressive contracts....

Last month on Dynamite, Hardy revealed that he sold 51% of his Hardy Family Office stable to the former NXT Champion. Despite the business agreement looking smooth from the outside in the earlier few weeks, cracks have emerged, most noticeably between Matt Hardy and Jose. On the most recent edition of Dark Elevation, Private Party, The Butcher, and the Blade, and Andrade El Idolo were victorious in a ten-man tag team match....

Presently known as the “Multifarious” Matt Hardy, from week to week – even segment to segment – watchers of Dynamite never know which Hardy to expect ringside. In turn, his steady unpredictability in an era where diehard wrestling fans seem to know what’s next is especially remarkable. I had the pleasure of speaking with Matt Hardy via Zoom on July 7, 2020 – one day prior to the second night of AEW’s Fyter Fest – about working with AEW, his recent alignment with Diamond Dallas Page’s DDPY, why he has always lived in North Carolina, his favorite music to work out to, whether he has plans for a second book, and more....

Harwood started his career in 2004, performing in various independent promotions with names such as KC McKnight, KC Anderson, and Dennis Laundry. His big break came eight years later when he started wrestling on WWE NXT as Scott Dawson and started teaming up with Cash Wheeler (fka Dash Wilder) as “The Revival.” Together, they won the NXT, RAW, SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and the 24/7 Title. After getting released by WWE, Dax and Cash made their AEW Dynamite debut on May 27, 2020, as “FTR” and officially became “All Elite” in July when they signed multi-year deals....

On Friday night’s ROH: Supercard of Honor, FTR stepped inside the squared circle for the much-anticipated dream match against Jay and Mark Briscoe. When the dust settled, the two teams surpassed all expectations, delivering one of the best bouts of the entire WrestleMania 38 weekend. The match was a tag team masterclass, with FTR and The Briscoes giving it their all during the mammoth 27-minute run time. After a brutal encounter, the former AEW Tag Team Champions finally came out victorious, becoming the ROH Tag Team Champions for the first time in their careers....

On June 26, AEW and NJPW will present the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. Inside the United Center in Chicago, the first co-promoted event between NJPW and AEW will take place. The main event will see Jon Moxley face NJPW Ace Hiroshi Tanahashi for the interim AEW World Title. This comes after CM Punk, the AEW World Champion, had to be taken off the event because of an injury. Tanahashi is a former multi-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and one of the top stars of NJPW....

With the Kolkata derby looming this weekend, Sanjoy Sen decided to rest first-team players Debjit Majumder, Pritam Kotal and Sehnaj Singh as Sony Norde made a return from injury. One clear reason for Republicans’ setback is the extent to which they were thoroughly outcompeted by Democrats when it comes to the most bare-bones, brass tacks elements of modern politics. For the first time, federal and state fisheries officials have closed the season in California and in most of Oregon. The reason: only 90,000 fish returned last fall to the Sacramento River chinook run, down 90 percent from just a few years ago. Experts blame the plunging numbers on water diversions for agriculture and communities (in some years more than half the Sacramento’s water is siphoned off), pollution, dams that have cut off salmon from their upstream spawning grounds and unfavorable ocean conditions that diminished food sources in the Pacific....
