In case you didn’t know… CM Punk left WWE in 2014, immediately after the Royal Rumble PPV. He was eliminated by Kane in the match, who snuck behind an unsuspecting Punk. Punk left the company on a sour note and stayed away from the limelight for a while. He suddenly made waves many months later, when he appeared on his best friend Colt Cabana’s podcast “Art of Wrestling”. The two-part interview saw Punk bash WWE on various fronts....

In case you didn’t know… Earlier today, WarnerMedia officially announced their partnership with AEW. AEW will be broadcasting a weekly TV show sometime in the fall. They will be streaming all their content on the Warner-owned B/R (Bleacher Report) as well as be available for PPV. The press release also stated the following. It’s going to be interesting once AEW TV actually begins. What is the AEW Tag Team Tournament? All Elite Wrestling initially announced the creation of their world tag team championships on June 18th, 2019 and it was announced that the inaugural winner of the AEW World Tag Team Championships would be crowned on the 30th of October on Dynamite between the final two teams who would go on to proceed in the AEW Tag Team Tournament. The AEW Tag Team Tournament was announced on 9th August, 2019 and popular tag teams such as The Young Bucks, The Private Party, Jurassic Express, The Lucha Brothers, and The Dark Order were all confirmed to compete in the tournament....

In case you didn’t know… Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and the owners of AEW Shad & Tony Khan, made a big splash when they announced the formation of the company. Leading up to the rally today, several wrestlers signed on, including SoCal Uncensored and Britt Baker. While the roster was starting to form, and already had some solid star power in the Elite, they were still missing some big names that would elevate them....

Ticket demand for All Out was reportedly in the range of 137,600! In case you didn’t know… AEW’s first show, Double Or Nothing, emanated from the MGM Grand on May 25th. The show was a jam-packed card from top to bottom and featured the shocking debut of Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE. Amidst WWE’s rating woes and the weekly product not getting any better, AEW came in as a genuine alternative for fans of professional wrestling....

Thailand’s recent form has been hotchpotch. After the impressive World Cup Qualification campaign which ended with a narrow 1-2 defeat to Australia, the War Elephants failed to defend the King’s Cup title in their homeland. Renedy Singh, former Indian midfielder, was glad that India were drawn into a relatively easier group than in 2011, where the team had to face Asian giants Australia and South Korea. “This is the best draw that we could have got. Back in 2011 we had Australia, South Korea and Bahrain. The first two are the footballing powerhouses of Asia. So we were unlucky to draw them. I agree all teams are good but it is way better to draw Thailand and Bahrain rather than Australia and Korea....

India have been drawn in a four-team Group D of the qualifiers with hosts Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Turkmenistan for company. The main event to be held in Indonesia next year will see 16 teams participate with the hosts gaining an automatic qualification. 43 teams from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have been drawn into 10 groups for the qualifiers, with three five-team groups and seven four-team groups. Each group will see the respective teams take on each other once in a centralized venue with the 10 group winners and five best runners-up joining Indonesia in the final event....

Similar to the Euros and World Cup, the top two teams in each of the six groups (Groups A-F) advanced to the Round of 16 along with the four best third-place finishers.
