Currently, Ring of Honor (ROH) is dealing with the recent Kelly Kline situation which has not put the company in the best of light, as she was fired from the company. Fightful now alleges that Britt Baker’s departure from the company was also handled very poorly.

Baker had over half-dozen dates to fulfill with the company and that they were cut once it was revealed that she signed with AEW. The report also reveals that Joe Koff told people backstage that they did not owe Baker anything as it pertained to keeping their dates.

It’s also alleged that several people had to convince ROH management to let Britt Baker have a 5-minute match with Kelly Kline. It’s believed that Baker showed up at the event unaware she had been removed from the show.

In the same report, it’s also been revealed that women’s salaries were $12,000 a year, starting in 2018. This was raised to $20,000 a year. Multiple women also alleged “that they tried to explain to the ROH office how women’s matches took off on the company’s digital platforms, as they tried to get more screen time”.

It should be noted that before the $12,000 a year base salary, the base rate for non-exclusive, non-contracted talent was $150 for male or female talent while enhancement talent received less than that.

From these insider reports, it doesn’t look sunshine and roses for ROH. It should also be noted that this information is seemingly coming after Kelly Kline’s departure from the company.
