In case you didn’t know…

WrestleTalk recently reported that AEW has five events scheduled, including one in the UK, before their weekly television show starts in October.

At that point, it was already common knowledge that Double or Nothing would be AEW’s first show, taking place on May 25th at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Arena and that there would be a Jacksonville show in July - but nothing else was confirmed.

WrestleTalk claimed that “a source very close to AEW” has confirmed to them that the schedule is as follows:

WrestleTalk also reported that AEW could air in October on Tuesday nights on TNT, filling the gap in wrestling fans’ schedules left by SmackDown’s move from the USA on Tuesdays to Friday night on FOX.

The heart of the matter

All Elite Wrestling have today confirmed details of their second event.

Fight for the Fallen has been officially confirmed for Saturday July 13th at Daily’s Place Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida, and a portion of its gate will be donated to victims of last year’s mass shooting at Jacksonville Landing, as well as other victims of gun violence.

Daily’s Place Amphitheater is a 5,500 seat venue located on the grounds of TIAA Bank Field - the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

You can watch the announcement below.

What’s next?

Double or Nothing takes place on May 25th, fittingly, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The MGM Grand Garden Arena will host the monumental event where I’m sure seeds will be sewn for Fight For The Fallen - and we’ll no doubt have more official announcements coming very soon.
