Earlier this month, Yuke’s showed off a teaser trailer for AEW Fight Forever, which revealed a number of aspects that fans can expect. This includes the box art, which features some of the aforementioned A-Listers on its cover. It also showed off some gameplay, highlighting the variety of match types and customization options that fans are familiar with. This includes a number of Pokemon Stadium-styled mini-games, which were also given a spotlight in a trailer during THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase.

The trailer kicks off with Tony Schiavone, a commentator on AEW, meeting with a wrestler on the roster known as Dr. Britt Baker or D.M.D. for short. After D.M.D. encourages the commentator to sit down with a controller, she shows off a match between herself and Adam Cole. The trailer shows off one of her moves being the stomp, along with her demonstrating a submission maneuver on her opponent as well.

Schiavone then asks if there are any weapons available in AEW Fight Forever, to which D.M.D. helpfully provides gameplay clips of her using an arsenal of items to smack Cole around. This includes chairs, fire extinguishers, garbage cans, and a baseball bat being some of the options. Alongside that, some clips of the game’s career mode was also shown, which features a variety of mini-games. This includes a rhythm game like mode between four wrestlers, a baseball home run mode, as well as a mini-game where poker chips rain from the sky that players need to collect. The trailer ends with the match between Schiavone and D.M.D. seeing the latter winning.

The game’s release date hasn’t been specified in this trailer, but it does highlight the platforms that AEW Fight Forever is coming to like the Nintendo Switch. Many fans have praised the trailer, with the arcade-like gameplay and mini-games being a big highlight, and some elements that WWE-related games currently don’t have.

AEW Fight Forever is in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
